You didn't say what temperature you were firing the glaze to. If they
are not nearly the same temperature than I suspect that you would have a
problem of either over firing your bisque or under the glaze part of the
load.

Subject: kiln adjustment

I fire from small electric kilns converted to gas. they work well.
My question is, has anyone fired a glaze with a buiske(you know the
spelling) on top?
To make it easyier, I put the smaller kiln above the other, then
separate
the two with a top (or bottom of the smaller). thus making a second
chamber.
the fire goes thru the second chamber and out the flue.
So, the secondary heat from top flame is used and gotten use. thus
saving
time and money and fun to watch.
Has anyone done this?
If not I will and report.
