I had been using a brand of Latex resist from (1.) Minnesota/Midwest Clay
Company but this fall the stock ran out. I don't know if they have
discontinued or what? I substituted with another brand from (2.)
Continental clay and haven't tried it out yet. Once in a while I had
troubles peeling the (1. brand) from the pieces in process but generally
liked the product. As I say I haven't tried the second brand but it looks
very thick in the jar so am curious how it is going to work. Does someone
have a favorite brand of Latex resist that they like? As you know these
are unusual products and not the same as regular WAX resist and its
functions are different. I also tape the jar shut after each use to make
as airtight as possible. I don't think most of this stuff has a long shelf
life generally so I order minimal amounts that might be needed for the year
so I can fresh stock periodically. Any views on the subject.
