Gurus all, I have a problem I want to fire a lead based=20
glaze (80% red lead). Fay says "no way! not in my
kiln you don't". How can I seal a saggar without it=20
blowing up, and not let any lead fumes out? TIA Ralph
in Cape Town.

Dear Ralph

I use gaskets cut from ceramic paper but a strip of a strip of ceramic
fiber should do.
