i dont know if the english copydesk is the same as my
"colourless art masking fluid" by winsor and newton,
but certainly sounds similar.
i use it instead of wax. it peels off, doesnt smell,
doesnt burn... it says: natural rubber latex/ammonia.
you can buy it in the states in art supply stores,
painters (water color) use it too.
.........guess what! i am just reading the fine print
right now: made in england!!! but i bought it in
minnesota :-))

Marta may well be right. Try it.
But the real Copydex DOES smell.
But it works really well.
