Has anyone ever attended a workshop by Ellen Shankin? I noticed one
being offered at the Armory Art Center for "Vessels for Pouring and
Serving", Feb. 25-Mar. 1, 2002. Enrollment is limited to 15 students,
so I need to sign up soon if I decide to go.

Please email me privately: sandlink@bellsouth.net.

Thank you very much.

Ellen gives a GREAT workshop. She's full of ideas, techniques
and knowledge and very generous as a teacher. Go for it! I went
to a 5 day workshop that was for experienced potters and there
was never a dull moment.

Ellen Shankin does a great workshop. She's very personable,
and funny, as well as extremely knowledgable. She's been
making her living as a potter for a long time now, and she
has some interesting views about how to do that. Her own
work is detailed and careful, and her personal designs are
quite interesting - very individual, thoughtful.

I expect you would enjoy it. I've not heard any negative
comments regarding her workshops. So - have a good time!
