Hi - all - As well as a potter, I am also a scale modeler of old cars
(Rolls Royce, etc.) therefore I am always on the lookout for something
that may help me improve. Yesterday on the net I came across a article
on building a spray booth, that seems much better that the one I built
and mentioned before. This one could also be used as a drying booth. If
not running, a slow drying booth, by keeping the doors closed. Also
narrowing the front intake would create even more vacuum for
glaze/diust.. It has a caged exhaust fan, much better flow than mine,
and lights so could work much better than the one I built (down draft),
or both could be combined. Right now I'm going out to price the
materials to put it together. To see what I'm talking about. I searched
GOOGOL with the following:

http://www.interlog.com/~ask/scale/tips/tips.htm.

Then click on Tips and Techniques page, then once there, item #13.

Walla! a great spray booth, dryer and/or slow dryer at low cost. If you
need more airfow, add another section. Please let me know what you
think.
