In spite of cutting back on folders in my computer, the massive info on =
Spraying has resulted in my adding another. Definitely more than I Knew =
to ask, but Not more than I needed to know. Thank you.

Toni's right about the workshop learning. I've experienced:

Hopper's in British Columbia (two weeks/more than simply a "workshop"),
Paul Lewing's tile overview vicariously ... couldn't attend when he was =
in our very own part of the desert but heard all about it later ...,=20
Tom Coleman's in Las Vegas (one week....)
who demonstrated spraying very well, but I had so much else to learn =
that the spraying pretty much went over my head,
Jack Troy's in Mesa, Arizona, woodfiring and throwing(yum ... spent a =
year pursuing building my own ... decided I needed to concentrate =
elsewhere),=20
Vince's at Michaels' farm in Washington state (one week) ...
pit-firing and handbuilding done to perfection.
Nils Lou .... kilnbuilding.... in the mts near Fresno, Calif. Learned =
much about firing.
Mendocino with a fine potter whose name I do not recall ..... throwing =
mostly... increased my skills greatly.
A paper-clay pro from New Zealand at our local college ... one day but =
valuable.

This concentrated learning with a master and committed buds is the most =
focused way to go. Since for me "focus" is everything when I'm actively =
learning, I agree with Toni about the value of workshops. That's why =
NOW I'd like to re-visit many of those same areas where I am pleased to =
be able to IDENTIFY my OWN shortcomings as a potter... the places where =
I fell through the cracks.... through no fault of a presenter ... when =
one begins with minus zero, cracks are more prevalent than terra firma.

Keep thinking, Mr. Mayor.

In the Mojave where now that I've finally downloaded the True&Complete
McAfee Anti-Virus program, I am content with my protection. Seems I =
had an abbreviated, temporary version that came in a bundle when the new =
ComPaq was purchased .... not worthless, but not valuable either.
