even if you are familiar with gas lines, plumbing, and want to do the =
installation work yourself, I would recommend that you have someone =
check your result. I would have all the specification information =
available to the gas service person about the burner fuel, pressure =
requirements so that you get the best performance from your "gas =
appliance". And it is possible that your codes will require you to have =
a certified person install the lines.=20
On my kiln, I did all the black pipe plumbing to the burners then had =
the propane company come to bring the tank. When they hooked up the kiln =
they provided the low pressure regulator at the kiln too. Then if ever I =
had a problem with the regulator they would replace it for free. The =
people were so nice even though they didn't know much about kilns or =
pottery, he kept referring to the kiln as the "gas appliance". I gave =
the men a mug and even now when I call to order propane they know who I =
am and ask if the kiln is working properly. Ask for a commercial =
discount on the gas too. They usually beat any other company on price =
and service.
