heino blue glaze

If anybody could help me find the recipe for a glaze we called Heino
blue, I would really appreciate it. It is a cone 10 glaze, made,
obviously, by Otto or Vivian Heino. It contains barium, and copper as
a colorant. I know it was published by one of the clay magazines, my
searches have been fruitless. I will keep glaze records in triplicate,
and keep them in various safe deposit boxes around the country, if
only I could get this one back. Even a clue of where I could look would
help. Thank you.

Hi Gordon...

This doesn't contain Barium or Copper... but you might want to try this
out... I found it in my list of glazes from the Glendale College Ceramics
Department. It might be an interesting glaze for you nonetheless... :-)
Good luck!

I'm sorry to take so long to say thank you, Dave, for the Heino recipe.
It was the one we had before, my bowls are right on schedule for the
end of semester. What a great deal, one day on the internet, after two
months of fruitless research ! I will be getting the recipe tattooed to
my --- as soon as possible. Thanks again, Dave, and all of you for being
so helpful. Gordon.
