Sometime ago there was a question about a plastic clay, what did it
mean. In this glaze it means that when you touch it you feel like you
hold a plastic card or so.
This glaze was born as a mixture of some glazes I had includes
Behrenes's Stony white, mixing mistaking, bur remembering what I have
done and reproducing it.
I tried it in three recipes.
No. 1 was less good
No. 2 and No. 3 were very similar
I shall go on with No. 3 because of the cost You can use #2 because of
the materials.

When I touched the glaze I felt similar to the way I felt holding the
weathered green. Pete Pinnel, in his letter explained correctly ( as it
was his glaze) that his base, without the copper was above ^6. I tried
I knew.
Therefor I tried my plastic as base and with an add of 5 copper C. and
5 titanium.
Pete Pinnel's base:

It was important and I tested it that way, to apply thin. Not the thick
layers we must do with the weathered green
There are some common points between these two recipes, the main is
definitely the H2O which was from the some rusty pipe.
The results as expected where different.
One tip I can give you now. it looks good with 3 copper oxide! But
the bigger however was the result, not weathered green but a very
interesting mottled glaze. Defiantly a reason to go on and test it.
I added two pictures to my second glaze page.
You are welcome to join me.
