Dear All

I am hoping to make some frits.

Does any body have the eutectic mixture and point for : Alumina and silica
mix:

and more importantly a mixture and point for 4 (5) the stonware standards
- Silica, Alumina, calcium , Sodium and/or Potassium .

Does any one have any experience of making frits in a studio environment.

Hello to All ,

Paul Taylor ,

does this help ? -

6.8 Na20 - 7.1 K20 - 67.1 Si02 - 19.0 Al303
Melting Point - 1160 deg.c
The eutectic for 58% Albite - 42% Orthoclase.

15.6 Na20 - 5.8 Ca0 - 42.6 Si02 - 36.0 Al203
Melting Point 1130 deg.c
The eutectic for Anorthite and Nepheline no%
given.

Do you have an idea of how you intend to use
these Frits ?
Khaimraj
