Dayton Grant writes his new kiln design can "reach cone 05 in 15 minutes,
cone 1 in about 45 minutes and within the next ten minutes, you can watch
through the peephole as cones 9, 10, 11and 12 ,go down like molten
dominoes......(more)..."

Dayton: I have consulted my pots and without exception, they said they don't
want to be fired that fast, and will not be responsible for consequences of
so doing.

Not disputing that there may be some demand for this is industrial
applications...don't know.

Best regards- hope you get rich.

As a amateur kiln designer myself (Anagama and Raku), I think his reference
is more about the efficiency then the speed. And yes, my single fired pots
would not like that either. My Raku, however, can be fired in 15 minutes in
my raku kiln. Isn't kiln design fun!!
