Yahoo has Clayart on it, because Clayart archives the material. Mia in ABQ

Hi Karen -- I access the clayart list online, instead of by email,
perhaps you could try that. I don't read the majority of the posts,
but I check out the ones that have interesting subject lines. (Good
reason to be sure that the subject line is descriptive and accurate,
and that you don't forget to use one.)

I get a lot of regular email, plus a couple of other high volume
lists in digest form, so I really don't want Clayart via email. At
the Yahoo site, all the posts are listed and you pick which ones you
want to open but all are available.

For some reason, the posts show up in *batches* (maybe because it's
sent via digests??) maybe three or four times a day, so if you post a
message, it may not show up for some time. So sometimes you look at
the board and no one's posted for hours, then next time you look,
there will be a whole bunch of new posts and replies.

You do have to watch where you send the posts, if you send it via the
egroups.com address (which is what is automatically entered if you go
through the post option from the main message board), it may not
work. If you open a message and click on send posting to clayart, it
works.

Try http://groups.yahoo.com/group/clayart/messages

You may prefer the email version, but if you're having trouble with
it, at least you should be able to access the list via the website.

At the Yahoo site, all the posts are listed and you pick which ones you want
to open but all are available.

What I want to know is, WHY this is true. Clayart is not affiliated with
Yahoo, so why does Yahoo have Clayart on it?

Why does clayart archive on Yahoo? That does not make any sense.
