This is wild! After looking at the photos on the page, I went to
altavista.com, which has a free online translation program. I
translated from Japanese to English, and learned that this page is:

Study official collaborative research Development of the
"Shigaraki burning where letter comes to the surface "
With bubble of beer message!

(OK, so automatic translations are not perfect!)

Anyway, the page goes on to say that by using a wax resist to
leave part of the bowl unglazed, it's possible to create patterns of
foam on the surface of the beer. Apparently the company has
applied for a patent on this technique.
