In my humble opinion, Clay and Glazes for the Potter by Daniel
Rhodes. It is the textbook in many universities. It is my standard
reference. There is a new 2001 edition out.

If you want to get a good understand of glazes you might like to try
"Glazes Cone 6" by Michael Bailey, A & C black, ISBN 0-7136-5115-6, even
if this is not the temperature you are looking for.

Hi Lajos,
I really like Greg Daly's book Glazes and Glaze Application. I don't =
have the book with me to give you the publisher info. (It's at the =
studio and I'm not) but I'm sure it's readily available from The =
Potter's Shop or most pottery suppliers. (I got mine at Axner's).
