Dear Bev Lev,

Seth usually has a few lines in the small adds of Ceramics Monthly. =
Otherwise you may pick him up doing a Google search on the web. He has =
opened his home at Wenford Bridge as a teaching establishment. This =
would also give access to the Museum. He also seems to visit the USA =
fairly frequently. Must be six years since he was in Australia.

Best regards,

Ivor Lewis.

Hallo Bev Lev
Seth Cardew's webbsite address is
www.wenfordbridge.com
His wife is american and they generally visit the
states at least once a year.

I did a workshop with him in the summer and I would
highly reccomend it. One week of throwing (to include
knocking the unthrown clay centred before throwing,
tapturning) the wheelwork is all done on kick-wheels
,one of which used to belong to his father Michael
Cardew. The whole workshop is like a museum. one
Kiln made in 1939, glazes from his fathers original
recipes and various strange pottery artifacts just
lying around (an 'apprentice-powered' Wheel) It an
amazing place.

He is a very good teacher who has the knack of
articulating his ideas very clearly and also of being
very down to earth about the whole process (and the
pots in the museum -Leach, hamada + others) I would
like to go again, if only for the 'Wenford Experience@

good luck
