Hi, Frank - You're very brave, wearing anything in the studio that you might
ever want to wear in public again! We have a whole separate wardrobe (if
you could call it that), garnered from Value Village (a big box secondhand
clothing store, for those not in the know) and including Tshirts and sweats
that would otherwise be cast off. This wardrobe has a separate drawer, AND
a separate wash cycle. The only exception to wearing these things in the
studio, is if I have to go in there to attend to some minor chore, in which
case I wear a canvas apron over my "civvies". As for your Tshirt, have you
tried a liquid bleach and hot water soak? If that doesn't work, and it's a
really good quality shirt that you just love and can't bear to throw away,
maybe tie dye it :)

Hi Frank.....just come to the studio here in Guatemala and fit in. Remember
all the aid boxes we got after hurricane Mitch? Well, a whole cottage
industry of used clothing stalls got started behind the market. What my
students do is go buy a shirt for Q1 and pants/shorts for Q1. and leave them
here at the studio and change when they come. A Q (Quetzal) is equal to
sixteen cents. So for 32 cents, you too can look the part, if you are here.
After they leave and go on to more traveling, they leave their togs here,
and Ron and I are improving our wardrobe, sixteen cents at a
time........................Lowell Baker comes next month, come on down with
him....Melinda Collins, Antigua, Guatemala...ps...need to get out of town to
find more banana stickers, and havent gone anywhere lately......
