re-glaze question

I have fired a number of pots in my electric kiln that are not interesting, but boring and yuchy, due to the glaze being a yawn. I would like to re-fire these in my wood kiln when it's finally ready. do i HAVE to reglaze? would a white-glazed pot pick up some flashing if I just stuck it in & fired away? would some glaze irregularities/bumps and drips smoothe out in a refire? do I have to glaze over all these pieces with some plan in mind or is there a chance the reduction atmosphere might add some pizazz without more glazing on my part? thanks for any advice
