Lewis Katz adds to his claybody rice , I do not remember how much, anyway he
fires slow, between 400-500C to avoid the blowing of the piece I would soak
the rice pees in water to have kind of shrinkage of these seeds parallel to
the claybody you can read more about in Zakin's book Ceramics Ways of
Creation
