Hi Jimena
I have three books on throwing that I bought because I was working in my
basement and figured I would basically teach myself. I'll list them for you,
but I have to say you'll advance a lot faster if you take some classes.
you knew that was coming)
So the books are:
Pottery on the wheel Elsbeth Woody ISBN 374 51234 5
The Potter's Primer Morgen Hall ISBN 87341 540 X
The Big Book of Ceramics Joaquim Chavarria ISBN 8230 0508 9
Good luck

As an addition to my classes with a local potter, I also read and followed
books. What was most helpful to me however, was Robbin Hopper's video on
throwing.

There is a new book this year published by Crowood Press.

It is "The Art of Throwing"by Alex McErlain

I would not hesitate to recommend it and have no connection with
either the author or publisher.

Alex McErlain has taught ceramics to degree level at Manchester
(UK) Metropolitan University since 1976 and prior to that studied
under Derek Emms and also Ray Finch at Winchcombe Pottery.
