Dear Tony-- =20

I always enjoy your emails. You are Clayart's resident curmudgeon, and =
I wouldn't change you. But I think you're over the line on this one.=20

American politicians may not give Canada its due, but I assure you that =
American individuals love and appreciate Canada.

I am a second generation American. My grands & greats immigrated from =
Russia and the Ukraine after 1900. In the 1920's, when it became =
difficult to enter the USA, many of them went to Canada.
My grandmother, who lived in Detroit, only became a US citizen when she =
was informed that if the visited her sister in Windsor, she would not be =
permitted back into the USA without citizenship.

I have visited Canada, not as often as I would like, but it is a =
beautiful country with warm, generous people. And I assure you, Canada =
was mentioned with appreciation on all the news channels that I watched =
last week.

In peace,
Lana in Somerville, MA
