red gold glaze/just a glaze

Dear Chris and Clayart,
Red Gold glaze is a very nice glaze in color and surface. My results are
consistent, and show a rusty brown semi glossy glaze with a distinct gold
glitter over much of the surface. In more recent trials with double
dipping and layering glazes, promted by Marianne's 100 candle holder
project, I have found it to be very attractive. It can become very
opalescent and oil spot like. It looks good under a variety of
transparents, Cream Gloss and other rutile color base transparent
glosses. Try it under what you have buckets of in your studio. I would
not make this the new Floating Blue of Clayart!....it is just a glaze, but
it is a nice glaze if you like that sort of surface.
Let me know if you want some rutile over glaze recipes to try.

Best regards,
