Hi,

Does anyone know how to get...or possibly have for sale...two Randall-type
kickwheel bats? We have two kickwheels with *tractor seats* that are
unusable because they have no bats. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi Debi, I also have a randall kickwheel that I always use. I found bats at
my local ceramics store that fit perfectly. They dont have a webstore, but
if you want I could go pick them up for you. I think they run for around
$10.00 a peice..

Randall also made a flat wheel head too. Maybe you could scrounge a couple
of those somewhere.

The Randall company still has the fittings and bat molds for sale for their
wheel, even tho the wheel itself is no longer produced. Recently bought a
couple of the molds for plaster bats that would drop into the recessed head.

Debi,

I've got a Randall, purchased in 1998. I got the flat
metal wheel head and the bat wheel head. There are two
sizes of bat molds that you can purchase. I've got the
12". The other one is much larger, as big as the bowl
opening. You just fill them with plaster and make as
many as you want. In any case, contact Randall (716)
461-0136. (Box 778 Alfred, NY 14802)

Good Luck, Ronda in Virginia
