Hi All!

The little grey cells are not coming to my rescue. If any of you clay
poets out there can bring to mind a few lines from a poem relating to
eagles in flight seeking prey, I would appreciate the help! Please
include the poet's name.

Sande
who just finished watching Sheila C's tape and now needs to pick up the
supplies for handles! Nothing like planning ahead. I haven't even made
the platters, yet!!!!

The Eagle
by Alfred Lord Tennyson

He clasps the crag with crooked hands:
Close to the sun in lonely lands,
Ringed with the azure world, he stands.

The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls;
He watches from his mountain walls,
And like a thunderbolt he falls.

Sande,

This doesn't sound like the poem you're looking for, but I did
come across the following poem by Alfred Lord
Tennyson:

The Eagle

He clasps the crag with crooked hands;
Close to the sun in lonely lands,
Ring'd with the azure world, he stands.

The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls;
He watches from his mountain walls,
And like a thunderbolt he falls.
