POTTERY WHEEL NEW

There is something a bit odd about this. Not only does it read like an
advertisement, the person who posted it is also the current high bidder for
the item and is listed 7 times in the bid history.

I think it's more likely that when the negative stuff hit ClayArt, they
pulled it themselves. If legit, they should have been more up front
with the list. People around here are interested in new products. They
give themselves a bad name when they do something that isn't up and up.

This one is spam guys, I got it on my regular email as well. None of
the bidders have any track record and the beginning bidder doesn't even
register when you try to find last bid items, all errors.

why would the highest bidder try to get the rest of us to bid against them?

POTTERY WHEEL NEW

Definitely something strange going on here. I'd posted this ad yesterday to
my watch list. As I am in desperate need of a wheel but lack the funding to
afford one, I peruse eBay & some other used sites daily & lust after what I
cannot have at present until someone decides to virtually give one away ;-)
Anyway.....this was one that I tagged to watch & see how the auction went.
It only went up yesterday & now the "auction" is over. When you try to go to
the page you cannot access it at all. It gives an expired message which is
usually something one would receive a month or more after the completion of
the auction. My guess is that eBay realized something wasn't kosher & pulled
it. I must admitted, I'm intrigued. If anyone knows anything about the
company or the wheel, I'd love to hear. It was called The Boston Wheel & was
supposedly new & in production???

Still heartbroken that the Jepson Pro-station is no longer available for
purchase....boo hoo! I keep searching for a reasonable imposter ;-)

POTTERY WHEEL NEW

As a regular visitor to ebay, I found this add auction very odd also. There
is no photo of the item being offered, just a drawing. I got the feeling
the item doesn't exist yet. If, indeed, this is a new product, ebay seems
an odd place to introduce it. Caveat emptor.

Based on the fact that the seller had no feedback, the two primary bidders
had no feedback, and the high bidder was promoting the auction, it is
likely that this was a case of shill bidders running up the bid
price. Ebay probably cancelled the auction for that reason.
