hi, everyone.

i have to take a road trip with my dad. in looking for ways to turn lemons into
lemonade, i got him to agree that we can stop for art & clay related stuff.

we're driving from rochester ny down to mt airy nc. we're taking 2 different routes.

i'd love any sugggestions from you swell folks.

here's the rough route....

from rochester ny

down throught w va, with a stop at blenko

to mount airy nc

across to delaware & up delmarva

philadelphia, then n to reading pa & home to rochester

sorry this is vague - i don't have the map in front of me.

and thanks, thanks, thanks. sabra wood

go to Seagrove, NC at all costs-it's east of Charlotte
(pottery museum and about 100 potters in a 15 mile radius)

I hate to tell you this, but Delaware is nowhere near Mt. Airy NC. You
might want to check your map.

If it's not too far out of the way try to get to Tamarack in West
Virginia, Great place! Lots of crafts and not all limited to pottery.
I know it's near Beckley W.V.

In WV , near Beckley, there is the premier arts and crafts center for all
WV only arts and crafts...it is called Tamarack and even the building looks
lots like a quilt block...worth the stop!
