Hi ClayArt,

My husband, 2.5 year old daughter, and I leave for Radford Virginia on
Thursday. We will be there one week to spend time with my husband's best
friend from high school. (Would you like to hear about the time they
demolished a student's car from a rival school?)

Well I would love to hear about any pottery related stuff going on in the
area. While our friends are at work, I suspect my husband will be glued to
the cable television (since we don't have it) so I am looking for some
interesting things for daughter and I to do, with or without him.

I love to watch people throw/decorate pots and see how they have their
studio set up. But I would be just as happy to see historical pots at
museums or galleries or private shops.

Sincerely,
Nikki Simmons

Drew Dodson is reviving the clay program at Radford University, hes very
friendly and he really enjoys telling stories and having company, stop in
and give him a big howdy, i'm sure he'll give you the nickel tour and maybe
even through you some pots, he always jumped at hte chance to host visiters
at watershed. Tell him i said hey.
