Dear All,

Would there be a Book maybe, which someone could recommend, in which =
some 'step-bye-step' proceedures may be followed, for makeing a (fairly =
'simple') Web Site?

I am not very accomplished at Computer matters, but I believe that I =
could follow 'steps' were they presented in something of a sequential =
way...as especially if intended for the impending novice who would get =
lost otherwise.

Anyway...thought I'd ask!

I have seen the operations of html writeing and some other odd things as =
figure into makeing a Web Site...and I believed that I could do this if =
I had some guidence.

I know how to put images onto wherever they go, useing 'cute-ftp', as =
for example so thay may appear on 'e-bay'...

The people here I know are very curt and testy and unpleasant with their =
Computer-Web-Site-Makeing knowledge, and the effort to endure them is =
not worth it.

So...If there is such a Book that you may think well of, I will get it =
and do the deed myself.

Thank you!

Philip

Greetings,

I thought I'd post this much if anyone else is interested in tutorial
books. Laura Lemay is one of the clearest writer you'll find out
there. Check amazon.com or some other bookstore to see the titles she has
published.

Cheers,

Fabienne

Hi Philip,

I have a great book out of the library right now called "Dave's Quick 'n' Easy Web Pages : An Introductory Guide To Creating Web Sites" by Dave Lindsay. He is a 14 year-old webmaster who has created the website for Brian
Jacques, writer of the Redwall adventure series for young people. This book is published by Erin Publications, Calgary, Canada. ISBN 0-9690609-8-X. $11.95 U.S. or $15.95 Cdn. You can order this book from Amazon or direct from the
website http://www.erinbooks.com/individuals.html . The website also has a description of the book. It takes you step-by-step through the process, easy to read and easy to follow. Now if only I could get around to applying it!
