electic kiln, 30 minute soak, tucker's mid- red clay body
^6 gives a semi translucent glaze with large interlocking crystals when =
slow cooled=20
^5 gives a silky matt opaque crackle glaze
as i understand it ;if your clay body has a 1% absorbtion or less when =
fired to maturity, crackle glazes are ok ; no water absorbed; no place =
for bacteria to breed.
