putting stuff in electric kilns

I put new elements in my ancient Skutt 818, coating them first with
ITC213. I do all manner of rude things in there - making charcoal in a
metal saggar, gas reduction, etc. NO DAMAGE! This is my "play kiln", but
after 100+ firings, the elements are just fine: no pitting, no
corrosion, same time to ^6.

Not connected to ITC, just a happy user/installer/kiln fixer for whom
ITC products have worked well. "Take as directed"! Felix knows what he's
about and speaks straight stuff. Sure miss Alice on the phone.
