Have two months gone by since my first Raku Rhody-o post? That means Raku
Rhody-o is two months closer. Yippee ey eh!
Raku Rhody-o will take place in downtown Providence RI on October 5, 6 & 7
-- with the opportunity to add a small piece to be fired in one of the
WaterFire braziers on Monday the 8th. Pamela Earnshaw Kelly is our Visiting
Artist. You can currently see her work at johnelder.com. Soon our website
will have this year's info on it and more of Pam's work. Now it has good
pictures from last year.

Artists' registration forms are available. $70 gets you the weekend
consisting of Pam's lecture Friday night; Pam's handbuilding and firing
demos; experimental kiln demos; firing of 6 - 8 objects in the raku kilns
or smoke fire pits/kilns; opportunity to enter work made at Raku Rhody-o for
the juried Best of Raku Rhody-o Exhibition at CenterCity Contemporary Arts
and the Mayor's Prize and more fun than you will think possible!
It is RISD Alumni weekend so if you plan to come get accomodations soon!
All you raku devotees come join us and bring what you know to share with us!
