oh, we also would glaze all of our raku pots,
put them in a kitchen over. turn them to about
300 and warm them up..maybe two hours ahead.
never had a break, crack or misfire.
i do that at home if i am doing raku tea bowls.
like to warm those babies up...really hot.

when the pots are warm, the fast fire raku can
be done with a kaowool kiln and a hot burner.
have done them in like 5 minutes.
( i know, i know, rules...but, i like to break them.)
how else does one learn...just do the same old thing...year
after year.?
