warren, again and again and again and again

And if Warren jumped off the Empire State Building, would you all jump too??

( Actually after a while the pile of potters would be high enough to make it
soft and bouncy and not at all dangerous, except for the silica dust.)

As a person who has a very short memory for names, I appreciate signed pots.
I can turn them over and find a clue to who made it when I want another one.
No big esoteric or artistic reason ...I just like the work and want more.
Same goes for the cute little stamps that give no clue to who made it. Can't
find you again, can't buy.

Don't imitate for fake reasons.
Dig a little deeper into yourself and get to your own style.

P.S. to Earl B. on his comment -
" Would "StarryNight" by Van Gogh command the millions of dollars that it
would in the market today if it was not a Van Gogh? Good as it is, I doubt
it. "

I have been fortunate enough to stand beside this painting for an hour or two
and the answer is YES it would - even unsigned and found in grandma's attic.
The vibrant power and life in this painting is undimmed by the years.
Desperately wanted to touch it ( potters weakness ) but it had its own
security guard.

Chris Campbell - in North Carolina - don't know much and what I do know I'm
not sure of.

Picasso said, "It's not a Picasso until I sign it!"

I kid you not. (Hey, maybe that will make them MORE valuable!)

Well, for next time, does anybody know how he signed his pottery?

Hamada said that the best pots leave room for the user to finish it.

I've not heard one person here say they follow MacKenzie's practice
of not stamping pots. It seems like many people have so little confidence in
what they are doing that they are threaten by MacKenzie's example.

I can't help but stand up and speak when the Lilliputians are up in
arms with their thread and needles, trying to tie Gulliver to the ground. ;^)
