Chalres Moore

I just had a message come in on my Outlook Express, from Charles Moore =
with an attachment of the Badtrans virus. Norton flagged it and I hope I =
got rid of it because when I tried to send it to Norton I got an error =
message. I never opened the attachment, but Outlook automatically opened =
the message when I was attempting to search for the mail options, but =
the attachment didn't open, as far as I know.
It did wind up in a folder where Norton put it, so I just deleted it and =
emptied my recycle bin. I'm doing a system scan to make sure it's not on =
here; but it could be, because I haven't updated my virus definitions =
since I put Norton on, about a month or so ago.
I can't seem to update Norton with Windows 2000. It keeps telling me I =
have to allow it to have read write access but it doesn't tell me how to =
do that and when I do a search on Windows for read write access, it =
doesn't give me a clue either!
This is the first time I've ever gotten a virus attempt on my computer =
and I am very, very careful! I never open attachments, even from people =
I know, unless they specifically tell me they are sending me something =
they wrote themselves, or their own pictures, etc.
If anyone can help me and tell me how to give Norton read write access =
with Windows 2000 I would be most appreciative!

Warm regards,
June
