Recently I posted a glaze from Emmanuel Copper.
He states that Nickel in 1-3% with the addition of=20
20-50% Barium carb. plus 10% Zinc oxides

draws out pinks blues and greens.

It did in my test. Amazing colors. But 40% Barium carb. huge health =
hazard, obviously have to really like this glaze to use it and only for =
decorative. I must admit, I really liked it for some specific pots I am =
making with a lot of texture.

Violet and blue colours come from small amounts in glazes containing =
Zinc oxide which might be a prompt for those people who are exploring =
the colour palette at cone 6 in oxidation firings. I also understand it =
does nice things with barium in the mixture.
