books on tape

most libraries belong to some sort of association that allows for
interlibrary
loans and if you are willing to wait anywhere from a few days to a few
months, you
can get almost any book, audio or video tape. In Md I can request anything
that
is in the MD system on line, and they send it to my local branch. if my
search
doesn't find it, I call my local branch and they run a nationwide search
and
email me when they get it in. when my tax dollars work like this, I am a
happy
camper.

Norman and Vicky,
I use the books on tape in my studio while I am working. I also pick up a
stack at
the library.

Hi Norman, I am from Ruidoso and also use the tapes to get to shows. Our
publice library here has a great selection both condensed and full length
so0 I don't buy any. check with your library and if they don't have any
maybe you can encourage them to get some. They are also nice for older
people who can't read very well.
