Dear Cindy,
I had subbed some Cornwall stone with Soda Ash for Toni M. because of =
the high cost of the blue stuff. It worked really pretty well, except =
it made the glaze more fluid. It did produce some really interesting =
streaking. If you try it, be sure to try inside a bowl or use a high =
bare margin on the test tile with something to catch it if it drips.
