Dear Nancy,
Yes, that is correct. Personally, I round everything up. I have never
used
this substitution recipe. I included it in my message as additional
information that might be helpful. Sorry for the confusion.

Dear Cindy,
You were looking for Cornwall Stone substitutions? Look in the Archives on
Monday, 21 December 1998 for Ron Roy's message re:cornwall stone
sustitutions. I also found a recipe from David Hewitt; date unknown.

Silica 23.14
EPK 13.63
Custer 60.10
Whiting 2.65
Talc 0.49

Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Carol

I can't remember what I originally submitted, but I am not surprised to
see the second decimal place of the total recipe as quoted below. The
calculation would have been done with a computer program set to two
decimal places for each material and it is not uncommon when adding up a
number of such figures that they do not add up exactly to the desired
100.00.
The difference is not important. Just take .01 from the largest number
so that it has the least affect on the result. If I had spotted it at
the time I would have done just that in order to avoid the problem.
Thanks for your sharp eyes and sorry to have caused any trouble,
David
