Hi Mel -

Your workshop ideas are great!

We are having a workshop here in Parksville, B.C. on that Island in the
Pacific at our Arrowsmith Potters Guild.

We are calling it "The Masters Series #1". We have a group of 4 potters
getting together to fire my little wood kiln on Good Friday and on Saturday
we have a great group of 4 "master potters" that will be giving a demo of
their specialties at the Guild. Each of the "masters" will take 90 minutes.
We will start at 10:00 AM, break for potluck at 1:00PM, start again at 2:00
PM and finish off at 5:00 PM. Real full day. We already have approx. 20+
signed up with more to come.

We will have the kiln opening on Easter Sunday in the afternoon.

I think you will agree it is a great way to spend a week-end with friends
and potters.

p.s. I hear by the grapevine that we will also be getting "the man" himself
in the person of Ron Roy out here for our Canadian Clay Symposium in
2002. Can't wait.
