q: kilns - l&l jd230 vs skutt km1027

The tech at L&L can say this much better than me, but basically this APM
element is a stronger element that will take more abuse, so compared to the
regular element it lasts longer. Whether you abuse sometimes always or
never, it lasts longer, eventually this should prove cost effective to you.
The return just depends on your level of abuse.
If your really abusive you'll be saving $$ almost instantly, and so on.
Both groups seemed very pleasant to deal with, to me, and I recomend calling
them sometime with specific questions so that understanding clay artist's
needs continues to evolve.
