form -bad part 2

It has just been pointed out to me that the clown/cactuses I cited =
as "bad" form could be looked upon as the latest incarnation of a form =
with a rich history....Many cultures have had some sort of fertility =
god, or symbol...And, it's a stretch, but I can see how they would have =
extra meaning to incarcerated artists
They DO make a good joke also...I see them in a whole new =
light...I guess they are just more proof that judging forms is tricky =
prospect at best...and mebbe a waste of time if it's carried to anything =
like absolutes...
Even more happy potting to all,

Art,

Saw the photos of the clown - OUCH!

Speaking of bad form, years ago I used to produced hundreds of "FART" jars
with cork stoppers. Several other potters also caught on and before long
everyone was selling them. I produced just about every conceivable "FART"
you could imagine. Budweiser Farts, Cabbage Patch Farts, etc. Of course,
they were in bad form as well as in poor taste but they sold. Just a
joke/novelty item. Most of my customers were little old ladies (the
grandmother types) and girl friends that would look at them, snicker and
comment that their husbands/boyfriends drank that kind of beer. A sale was
imminent! I guess poor form, bad form, poor taste is in the eyes of the
beholder and shared by both the creator and the consumer.

By the way Cloris Leachman (the actress) has one of my jars stamped "Coors
Farts".
