Hello ClayArters!
It was one of the letters, that when I read it again before deleting
them, I realized that I did not write clear.
The Opal blue, the Floating blue as well as this glaze which I love,

I think the small amount of G.B. can replaced easily/

.......Well, the three glazes are high with Alumina. This one, from Pottery

Koren 27..........On the other hand, has low alumina.
to make it literature, would be, to take a thin layer of chocolate on top
of
water. when you heat the pan, the chocolate melts, and start move without
any
order, well literature never been my good side
You can try it on a mug. I prefer buff or white. Cover it with Koren's glaze
and than, even, with a spoon, drip some drops of opal, or speckle or
floating blue. On a saucer, try koren 27, with a wide brush make some
strokes with any of the "top-glazes":The Opal blue, the Floating blue or my
favorite Speckle blue Grey.
If you make fruit dishes, with slits, you can let the top glaze play it's
game.
This combination, is the one among the 200 glazes that I know, make the
people in my small community believe, that I understand "something" in
ceramics.

Another aspect:

I send again the letter with an important add:

The main point is completely different. How did it start? These beautiful
glazes contain a LOT of rutile! In most times I got Speckle green, Opal
green and of coarse FLOATING GREEN. only above such a glaze, as the koren27
I got nice colors. Sometimes, as I wrote about the chocolate, the RIO the
rutile and the cobalt are kind of separating from each other and making
beautiful spots
Off coarse you can use Strontium....7.05% or replace the barium with whiting
in the same amount as the barium, but only on white claybody, otherwise it
"paints" in white your piece.
