masters throwing workshop

There will be a four-day intensive hands-on workshop for intermediate and
advanced potters at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, April 5 - 8, led by
Joyce Michaud, who will also be speaking at NCECA this Spring.

Designed to build skills and refine technique, the workshop will cover
concepts crucial to structural strength, including throwing exercises to
increase efficiency, and emphasizing master-level throwing skills. Bring
your tools and 150 pounds of the clay you are currently using (if you will
be flying in, clay is available for purchase). A selection of advanced
tools will be available for experimentation.

I am by no measure a master but I took this workshop and loved it. I worked
my @$$ off at the wheel, met some very nice people, and took pages of notes.
It has definitely improved my skills and confidence.
