Lisa, and everyone else,

The Empty Bowls event on Friday, March 30 is taking place at St.
Peter's Episcopal church, which is on the corner of 7th and Tryon,
in downtown Charlotte, very close to Spirit Square, the Mint
Museum, etc. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the convention
center, another 5 from the Adam's Mark. There is a downtown
shuttle that runs frequently that will take you from the Convention
Center or Adams Mark up to that area, or you could take the
conference hotel shuttle up to the Omni, which would put you
pretty close. You certainly can drive up there, but parking may be
somewhat limited. There is a largish parking garage quite close to
the church. More details will be available at the conference.
