Hello to all,

With NCECA just around the corner, we thought it would be nice to give
everyone interested in learning about Cactus Groove, the blues band for the
big Friday night dance, an opportunity to listen to a preview MP3 and learn
more about them in advance at their web site: HREF="">

We first spotted these very down-to-earth guys at a Virginia pub a few years
ago when they surprised us with more awesome blues & rockin' tunes than we
thought we'd ever stumble upon at a local bar. Since then, they've become our
favorites and we're pleased and honored to sponsor them for this year's NCECA
performance. It's certain to be a party not to be missed!

Also, don't forget to stop by Clay Times exhibit booth #66 to say hello and
sign up for a chance to win pots by this year's NCECA demonstrators Pete
Pinnell, Cynthia Bringle, and Sandi Pierantozzi. (They'll be doing live
demonstrations at the Convention Center, where all exhibitors' booths may be
found). We and our fellow exhibitors also have other goodies & special events
planned, so please make sure to take a break from the bus tours and Adams
Mark programming to find us!

Meanwhile, for those of you who have been wondering about the (lengthy!)
reconstruction of the Clay Times web site, it's (finally!) up and running
again on a new server and is loaded with useful, free information on all
aspects of pottery and ceramics. There are also many new site features
including an online store with secure server featuring instant orders for
subscriptions, back issues, t-shirts and tote bags. Please check out the new
site at

On behalf of all of us here at Clay Times, we look forward to seeing you
again at NCECA in Charlotte, and wish you a safe journey there!

All the best,

:) Polly Beach
