magnesia, "t" brick ?

We recently came across a torn down steel plant
here in Manila and in addition to some cheap, used
SK 32-36 fire bricks we found a cache of new, uncrated
"Magnesia" bricks. We're wondering if these are suitable
for the wood kiln we want to build.

We've heard that "Chromite" bricks, which are also used
in steel plants aren't suitable, tried to find info on Magnesia
bricks in the books but couldn't find anything.

Anyone familiar with this kind of refractory ? We'd appreciate
hearing from you, we could save some money if they're usable.

One more question, I have an anagama design that friends
in Seto gave me. They say I should use "T" bricks for the arch
construction. The "T" they say stands for trapezoidal.
I checked with a brick factory here and they say
that these bricks are called "key" bricks. The dimensions are:

T1 9in. X 4.5 X 4.0 X 2.5
T2 9 X 4.5 X 3.5 X 2.5
T3 9 X 4.5 X 3.0 X 2.5

So these are similar to wedge bricks but tapered on the
4.5 in. side rather than the 2.5 side. Would anyone know
the right name for this shape of brick ? T or Key ? Are
they the same thing ?

Wish us some luck, thanks,
