Ohhhh, Dawn, does this sound familiar! You'll get lots of helpful posts
most likely from those far more expert than I ..... but that 22 RIO is
waaaaayyyyy off, I'm sure ... more likely, 2.2! I love this post though.
Deja vu all over again.

Dawn,

I've used this glaze and not had it spit, but really, the formulation of
Floating Red hardly qualifies it as a "real" glaze at all. It's only good
for decoration, and only if you like the look. I do, but I seldom use it.

Go to http://www.digitalfire.com and look in their education section. You'll
find lots of great information, along with sample glazes for various
temperatures. This is where I got my start, and I highly recommend it as a
jumping off point.

No Joyce! this time you are wrong!
That glaze with the 22RIO was sent by the belovedm Marty Anderson. He said
it was a great glaze but unlike other glazes that he had sent me, this one
did not turn out good. Could be that the natural RIO that I used made it so
ugly, but I agree with you that 22 of RIO is a bit too much!
