just a word.

i have gone the other way, sorta like tony c.
i loved my digtal camera, but thought that i
needed to step up. so, i bought a canon digital
video camera. but, digital video will do stills
as well as video. so, i killed two birds with one
stone. and i really like it.

if you want to spend a bit more money, and get
a better image, well i sure like what i did.
the software punches right into photoshop as
quick as a wink. no download time. it is just
there, right now. the camera comes with a remote
control, so you watch the baby screen and when you
get what you want...zap...you keep it. you can pull
off any still image from the movie, or use the single
frame shot feature, and you have an hour of tape. that would
be about 2,000 stills.
about a bit over a thousand dollars.
and it makes a great little video.

thank you linda, yes, no more talk of mowing lawns.
geeeeez, pity us. 8 inches of snow a day ago, makes
it one of the snowiest winters on record. we still have snow from
november. the cross sections look like faults in stone. you
can see each snow fall for the entire winter.
