Katherine,

I am not sure if someone emailed this to you, but here it is again. I am
typing word for word in the Clay Times article.

(cone 04 oxidation)

Copper Carbonate 4 parts
Kaolin 2 parts
Bentonite 1/2 part

After firing the glaze to cone 04, it is torched with an acetylene torch to
produce raku peacock feathers colors. A fine point flame produces
dramatically better results. This glaze plus a torch offers a raku surface
with no smoke and no cans. You can watch the colors develop as you torch
the piece. Overall heating of the piece - first in the kiln or with the
torch - will prevent cracking.
