tea bowl insight

Watching a baby nurse this morning I figured out something basic about the sensual pleasure of a tea bowl. The first happy memory most of us have, deep down somewhere, is of holding a warm, round shape (no handle), and drinking something warm and comforting.

So is it a coincidence that Mel was taught, in Japan, to make teabowls with a very slight nipple on the bottom?

Maybe that explains all the adults we see here in the states walking around sucking on a bottle of spring water or pop... formula babies!

Yours, Kelly in Ohio

it's pretty hard to get to that nipple, though.
